Solution plaintuts May 8, 2014 magnetized screwdrivers have a very low polarity so it's okay. unless you planning on rubbing the screwdriver on a RAM stick.

I'll deal with the hassle of dropping an occasional screw on my motherboard/case, and not run the risk of damaging something. It may be fine, but no thanks for me Upvote 0 Downvote
