Both are great boards.

If budget is a concern, I suggest this:


For 1 High end GPU: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P

8+2 phase power as on higher end 990 boards, and good OC features


For 2 GPUs in Crossfire/SLI:

Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev 4.0

The UD5 is a little better so if you can get it on sale for close to the price of a UD3, go for it.
