I have an AMD FX 8320 at 4.2 Ghz on stock voltages and also ASRock Motherboard and Hyper 212 Cooler. My idle temp is around 25c before and after oc but load temps are crazy. 65c before oc and around 68c with oc. 68c is reached only when playing GTA IV. Still above 60c. My pc was assembled in a shop and they applied the stock thermal paste. So will ther be any good if I get a good thermal paste and reinstall the heatsink ? I use a push-pull config and also I have 1 intake and 1 exhaust fans with good cable management near the CPU but little worse near HDD. Also should I use alcohol to wipe out old thermal paste ? Kindly help and if I am to get thermal paste then kindly suggest one from online shopping sites in India like flipkart, snapdeal, amazon.etc and also CPU throttles down after around 60c. Thanks.
