Hey guys, I am planning out a new build and I wanted to know if two Nvidia GeForce GTX 760s could play games at high (or max) settings with 40 FPS or above on 3 monitors?
That is all I really need to know!

Thanks for any help and advice!

Don't get SLI out of the box. Go with a single ASUS GTX 780 DCUII http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DWV3NM6. It has the VRAM and bandwidth which is better suited for higher resolutions such as 3X 1080p monitors and should have the horsepower to play most games at that desired performance.

If you want to go the AMD route, the Sapphire R9 290 TRI-X OC http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HJOXUKC will likely give you better performance than the 780 due to your resolution and the 290 having more VRAM.

A 780 or a 290 could get high to max settings on 3 1080p monitors with 40 FPS?
If you can answer that, I will probably be sold.

I reckon you will need something a bit more powerful, or turn down the settings.

The 4GB versions don't have the bandwidth to utilize 4GB VRAM.

You can play on high-max settings depending on the game and if you turn down AA.
