So I have a new build that I put together and I double checked everything. When I power it on all the fans spin and it looks like everything works.. But no image shows up on the monitor. None except for "No HDMI Signal" I've tried DVI HDMI and VGA and none work. Also my optical drive does not open unless I press "restart" on the computer then I have a window of 3 seconds to press eject and it immidiatly closes. Please help

Unless it's a generic make or doesn't actually deliver the required power over the 12v rail, may be 350w but if it cant actually send the required power or close to the required power over the 12v rail then it can cause issues.

It would still boot. Nothing is under much load at idle. Even a gtx780ti only uses 30w at idle and a CPU will use less than that.

Even is a build pulled 600w under full load, a 350w unit should be able to boot it easily as it will not pull much power at idle. Even SUPER high end builds barely pull 100w at idle.

I agree although a generic PSU has terrible capacitors, if they blow then it renders the PC useless, very unlikely but just a simple spec list can help.

Yeah, leaked/blown, somehow broken it's a possibility but unlikely, I remember having a capacitor blow, scared the crap out of me, especially since me and my friends were talking about weird and spooky stuff lol.

I'm using a 750 watt power supply.. It's not a power issue. And i've double checked my graphics card. it's mounted properly. All the fans are spinning and i've tried using the graphics card and mobo ports and nothing.. I've re seated my ram. and tried that power button + power cord trick.
