It works fine when the card is out. It is missing half of two of the tiny gold strips so I sent it in and they sent it back and didn't call about anything. But anywho the card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... the motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

hook the monitor to the motherboard. boot into BIOS and change the onboard to pci-e/peg or whatever to make it boot to the card.

Take a picture of the connector where you think might be a problem

Have you tried it in another motherboard? And why would they send the same card back?

Can't. My assumption is it worked for them.

I just don't know about these NVidia 700 cards there sure seems to be a lot of folks here with issues with them

let me ask you , you did remove all the old cards drivers before you removed the old card and then installed the new card booted to windows on the OS's default display driver and then installed the new driver for the card and now it don't display or it just never displayed at all from the get go...

I just built it a few months ago and just got the card back(I had to do a few rmas for parts). The only thing I have right now is the on board graphics card I didn't have any other cards in it before.

Well I lied, I thought it was working because it was recognized when I was installing it. I won't display now and is kinda running louder than it usually is.

you need to take that card somewhere and see if it works on another system or if another card will work in yours .. now I would look at a bad pci-e slot or a psu issue ..

Well it installed and is installed as of right now. It is in my device manager. I don't have anywhere else to bring it except a shop but that is an absolute last resort. Every time I switch it to PEG I'll put the hdmi in and nothing. So I have to take it out wait till it is on put it back in and it installs again.

does the time stay right?

has the motherboard experienced any power surges lately?

when you selected PEG............ did you save it properly?

Sorry for the delayed post. I went out and bought a dvi it worked on my parents monitor, realized I didn't have a dvi output on my tv went out bought a hdmi dvi one didn't work. So I used my cousins dvi cable connected to a monitor and opened the nvidia control panel(it was suggested in a different forum someone else made) and switched to the dvi hdmi and put it to the tv. It somehow recognized it. So that is that and this is posted just in case someone has the same problem as me.
