After, I getting fed up with the original Lenovo Case I decided to move the motherboard to a new case that would be able to store more drives. I got the machine to start up once, but it would just stop on the startup screen indicating the system was starting for more then 10 minutes. I reset the BIOS by reseating the CMOS battery. However I didn't notice that I seated the battery wrong and started up the machine which it did started up and then shut down on its own. After it won't start up anymore, even after I reseated the cmos battery it won't receive any power or post in that matter (even when I put a screwdriver to both pins for the power switch.

Did I kill the motherboard or could the issue be fixed?

Inserting CMOS battery wrong way up wouldn't have done any harm - - it would be in effect the same as having no battery in there.

Try a new PSU.

Well, the motherboard died due to the case producing too much static. I confirmed this by using a working board with a new power supply in the same case and it ended up killing the other mobo.

Its done, I sent it back. Thanks for trying anyway.
