Hello everyone.
I built my pc almost a year ago. Its still a very powerful machine, but I am having a small problem.
When I purchased my motherboard, an Intel DX79SI extreme, and put it all together, and plugged the fans in, one of the fan ports was bad, and made a very odd noise. I blew it off and just changed the ports, and the system is working flawlessly, almost...
Every time I have to reboot my pc, before it boots up, a screen comes up and says: One or more fans appears to have stopped or been removed. I've had this error ever since I changed which port the fan was plugged into. All my fans work great, and nothing is wrong with it, but having to press enter everytime my pc boots to pass this is a bit annoying... (first world problems I know...) Anyone know how I can tell it to shut up about it? I looked in my BIOS, (my Mobo has a convenient back-to-bios- button :) ) and looked under fans, and they are all reporting accurate fan speeds as per my cases fan speed controller. Everything is perfect, but this dumb error...
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
