I am looking to build a gaming pc using the corsair obsidian series 450D. But I need to know if the mounting brackets for the fans are made so that certain fans are intake and certain fans are for exhaust. Or do I need to buy fans that are reversible?

Thanks

More about : fans intake exhaust

usually, fans can act as either, just flip them around if you need.

well employ a little logic when setting it up. generally front and side are intake and back and top are exhaust. one solid flow over the motherboard. you should be more concerned with airflow fans vs static pressure fans.

A fan can be used for whatever.. intake, exhaust, cpu coolers, etc. They are all built to certain standards.

I understand that. I have the intake in the front and the exhaust in the back and top. I just want to make sure the corsair air series fans are able to be mounted in ways to match that configuration?
