Hey guys. I want to build a PC that can handle and is geared towards star citizen. I am trying to cut price, without cutting too much quality, so if you could help me get it under 2000 that would be great. The reason why I went with the nice monitor is because I think it will look really nice with Star Citizen, and paired with the 780, I think it will be super bad ass. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It's a nice build, I have a recommendation but it depends on what you like.

I would try to find a cheaper case and get a lower cost liquid cooler, maybe even a good air cooler.

Maybe a case like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353036

And a cooler like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103195

Then just gather a little bit of extra money and coupled with the savings you can get a 780ti instead of the 780. The benefits of the superior card will overshadow the benefits of having a better cpu cooler.

Now this is wise advice if what you want is extra performance but I myself wouldn't take it, as I wouldn't go for a cheap case, in fact my latest build was all planned around the case I liked. It is a mini tower and only fits one full sized gpu so I decided to go with a single titan black instead of doing the smart thing and getting two 780ti, simply because I wanted my build to be on that tower and wanted it to look cool on top of my desk.

So if your build makes you happy when you look at it while you play, then go with what you originally planned.

If you want power, save on some unnecessary items and get yourself the 780ti
