Gaming Laptop SPECS!

Hi, I'm looking into purchasing a laptop for University which is also capable of gaming and video editing. I stumbled across this laptop and I was told it had very good specs but what do you guys think? Would this laptop be capable of running modern games on high settings?

CPU: 2.5GHz AMD A10-5750 Quad Core Processor
GPU: 8750M 2GB Graphics
RAM: 16gb
15.6" display and 1TB hard drive

I'd recommend one of these instead. I don't know your budget, but if you really want fast then you could choose the one with a boot ssd. If not, the base option is still fantastic. I recommend this over the the A-10 AND THE 8750m.

You'll get pretty good performance on it. You should play most games on high and even ultra.

If you were to pick the $1199.99 version you can high settings at 1080p maybe ultra on weaker games
if you pick a different version it will only be medium settings at 1080p

Some older games (not that old) maybe BF3 on ultra. But medium to high is still good expectations for a laptop of this price.

No problem. I would've recommended the Y50 but it was out of budget
