Hello guys, i bought a graphic card 2 months ago and it is not that good, i am not not an expert on graphic cards but this graphic card said it had 4gb memory which i thought was good.
Here is the link to my graphic card. It is a gigabyte Radeon R9 270X and when i play games, i put the graphics on ultra and it doesnt't even look good at all.
Here the link : http://www.cplonline.com.au/gigabyte-radeon-r9-270x-oc-4gd-with-bf4-bundle-gv-r927xoc-4gd-ga.html

Can you guys please tell me a good gaming graphic card around $400-600
And can you please tell me a good graphic card that will cross fire with the graphic card i got right now?
Like for example can i cross fire with this graphic card?

Solution
short and simply, a GTX 780 or R9 290, both great cards and both are exceptional at gaming, let alone everything you throw at them.

Choose whichever one you like best, though the AMD has BF4 for free and is considered better, though that's arguable.

With an R9 290, a Sapphire Tri-X, MSI Twin Frozr/Tri Frozr, Asus DCUII, Gigabyte Windforce are all the best choices.

What I meant is, all being equal (same resolution, same ultra settings), it will look the same.

Hello PeterTheAwesomeAndCool

If your looking for a GPU around the $400 - $600 range then I suggest you get a GTX 770. The 770 is that sweet spot between the 780 and 760 and really performs well in gaming and CUDA rendering tasks (E.G: Video Editing & Rendering)

If you want performance and don't mind just a little noise from the fans then get the GTX 770 4GB SuperClocked Edition from EVGA.

http://www.cplonline.com.au/evga-geforce-gtx770-sc-acx-dual-bios-04g-p4-3774-kr.html

I currently have this card & it's a beast allowing me to play all my current games such as BF3, Black Ops 2, Bioshock Infinite, Just Cause 2, etc at 1080p on Ultra Settings.

My EVGA GTX 770 4GB SC Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDaH0oqpfkw

If you want a quiet GPU & some good performance & saving some bucks then go for the ASUS GTX 770

http://www.cplonline.com.au/asus-geforce-gtx770-directcu-ii-oc-2g-gtx770-dc2oc-2gd5.html

Gigabyte is also another option for the GTX 770 on CPL (Got my parts from CPL :)

However, If your going down the AMD road (please don't for me haha) I suggest going for an R9 290. People say the R9 280X & the 770 have similar performance but they are very different in performance. The R9 290 has great value and the performance and bit memory bus is good but I prefer the raw performance of an Nvidia GPU, not to mention the features such as GeForce ShadowPlay, GeForce Experience, etc.

At the end of the day it's up to you but i'd go the 770 for the performance and reliability.

Hope this helped ;)

It does not LOOK good or PERFORM good? The 270X is just fine as a gaming card. Are you maybe playing at an odd resolution that does not match your monitor?

What game and what exactly is the issue? RAM size does not equate to a fast or good video card.

Why that PSU? Firstly, its not a great PSU. Secondly, your system doesnt need anywhere near 1100w.

Secondly, you have a nice cpu/mobo/ram, but only a mid range GPU.. bit unbalanced for gaming. Will work fine, but everything will be bottlenecked by your GPU.

Is this something you already bought or planning to buy? $2100 is a pretty high end system, you can build a gaming system that will play any game on high settings for $500 less. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2pBd4

I just got lucky and earned some extra money from a lottery. I thought the higher watts, the better supplier. I can still get another graphic card, so please write down some good graphic cards because i can pay up to another $500, don't bother me with cash. as long as i can still buy food and pay my bills. Should i cross fire this or just get a new graphic card and throw my current 270x away, i will just think of it as buying battle field 4 cuzs it came with the game.

Alright Sorry , Okay I will post my Answer honestly.
So as the author says that the Graphics don't look good on Ultra , Well Graphics will look the same on every single card out there on ultra Settings or whatsoever , the only difference the higher cards will make is that , It will only run smoother (More FPS).
So It makes no sense to get another card , until you are really get bad frames with games on Ultra disregarding how "Ultra" Looks to you.
That's it , I am out.

As others have already said, ultra graphics on an R9 270 will look exactly the same as ultra graphics on an R9 290X or any other card. Some games just do not look great no matter what.

Stronger cards like the 290X are beneficial for higher framerates and screen resolutions, and higher settings in the few games an R9 270 can't max. But a stronger card will never make a game look better than ultra settings.

Read my post a few posts above this for my in depth answer.

You could do crossfire but I would'nt recommend it as some games don't support Dual GPUs and just a lot of noise possibly from the fans and maybe even overheating.
