Ok, so last night i was playing some League (very unstressful game on components), and about half way through the match my computer instantly blackscreened, all power was shut down and nothing would turn on, and i heard no sounds.

So i at about 2 am, i just assumed it was a PSU failure, so i didn't really care about it that much, and ended up just going to bed.

This morning i attempted to turn on the computer again. Turning on the computer resulted in the front case lights turned on and the case fans started spinning, but no components made actual sounds, and i never got to post screen or heard a beep, Please help!

Components:
i7-3770k
ASrock Extreme4 z77
Asus GTX 770 2gb
8gb DDR3 Curcial ballistix
Corsair CX750W PSU
64GB Sandisk SSD
1tb Western Digital HDD

Case: NZXT Phantom

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! clearing cmos fixed it! Do you happen to know why it happened and why this fixes it, for future reference? Thank you so much :D :D :D

There's a number of reasons eg - bad power supply or motherboard. While its working you should check the power supply by downloadingand running HWInfo and checking the min and max values for the 12v, 5v and 3.3v rails. If any are more than 0.2v from the target value, then get a new good power supply
