I have an I5 2500K CPU with a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ cooler.
Today i applied Dimastech HTX-EE paste to it and i am getting iddle temps ranging from 36-40 and load temps from 45-51

Now 1st of all i am 100% sure that the Cooler is nicely and precisely placed covering the entire CPU.

What i am worried about is if i fucked up the paste.
I read somewhere that before i apply this paste i should heat it to about 110F or 43C because its relatively hard.
But i didn't do that and i applied it dry and it was very hard, the moment i applied it it was all hard and dried it was a bitch to put on so im not sure if its that.
Or if its something other?
What do you think?
The reason i am worried is because i want to overclock it to 4.5 Ghz for games like Watch Dogs,The Witcher 3 and so forth.

well, your temps are normal, it can go up to ~80c before it starts to throttle.

That's all normal. Don't let it go above around 75c. Idle temps don't mean much, it's your temps under load that matter.
