I tried to play the retail COD MW2 on laptop, doesn't load at all. I have an Acer Aspire 5551 with windows 7 Home premium 64 bit; AMD Turion II P520 Duel Core processor-2.30 GHz; 4.0 GB RAM (3.74) usable. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4200. Is it because of the integrated graphics, or is it because I have a DVD/CD-ROM drive? I tried that site to scan my computer and it wanted me to upgrade my Java to Java version 7 update 55, and though I already have it, it keeps prompting me to update? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ty

Firstly yes laptops actually have very good graphics in them which can play any modern very demanding game at high and ultra settings. But those cost $1200-3000. As far as upgrading a laptop, very very few laptops offer upgradability. And that is upgrading current chips with better versions of that same chip. Needs to be same generation same family just better.

There are several games which will play just poorly on your laptop, im just pretty sure cod and ones like that are ones that wont/don't even launch without beefy graphics cards. Theres just not enough power in the weaker ones to even load the game, hence the crash and hesitation.
