Hey guys, I just bought Payday 2 and I'm trying to join a friends game when he invites me on Steam. The game did say error failed to join game so we did the whole port forwarding thing, thought it would work but no. I then verified the game, this took me one step closer, but then just froze whilst joining the game and crashed. I've been told to disable the in-game Steam overlay, but what good would that do if I need to join this game? Also, people say to un-install and re-install, but that will take me a few hours and could still not work. Any help would be appreciated.
