I try with Intel Celeron G1610 CPU with no luck. Is there maybe any other CPU that can work with this broken pin or i need to send it to reballing?

Thank you, and sorry for my bad english, Phillip

  1. well, if you dont mind waiting a week or 2, rma it. if you want to use it now, then try to bend it back, its not that bad, should be easy. also, if it is a reserved pin, the cpu will still work without it just fine.

I don't mind waiting, but i live in Montenegro and i don't have a warranty, and i think there is no official Asus shop around. I bend it back but still not able to reach CPU. I found mobo repair shop (only one in Ex Yugoslavia), it's around 50 euros to replace socket, but before send it i just want know can i solve it on easy way :) Thank for fast answer anyway, i will wait few more days to see is there any other solution, if not i'll send it.
  3. yeah, i would keep bending it, because even if you do break it off or something bad happens, you can go get the socket replaced.
  4. I will try tomorrow again, you got right, even if i broke em i still can send it to repair, my friend goes to Serbia for few days so he can take it and bring me back, thank you once more!
  5. no problem, and good luck :)
