New Kaveri build won't boot

So I started building a new computer, and went for the new kaveri APU's. The system won't boot however. Well, it powers on, but I get no beeps, and no signal on the display. I hope you guys can help me out. This is an exact description of what is happening and what i've been doing so far.

The components I am using:

APU: AMD A10-7850k
Motherboard: Gigabyte: F2A88X-D3H
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 2133 (2x4GB)

These components were recommended by a local computer guy to best fit my budget and upgrade plans.

What I have been doing so far:

*I went for a test run outside the case (on the motherboard box) to make sure everything was working
*I am sure that static electricity was no issue.
*I am using the stock cooler, so thermal paste was pre applied, and the fan is connected in the correct CPU_FAN header.
*I am using a known working PSU and both the 8pin and 24pin are connected correctly.
*I connected the power switch and the speaker from the case in which I plan to put this system, and they both work.

When powered on, both fans start spinning (the cpu fan and the power supply fan), but i get no beep and no display. If i leave this for a few moments, the heatsink of the cooler and the the heatsink next to the APU (don't know what really is under there) get a little warm, but nothing starts overheating.

*I took out the RAM to power it up again, at which point I do get the long 'no ram' beep.
*I tried the ram modules in all possible configurations, with a single one in each of the slots, and then with two of them in all possible ways and get the same result (no beep and no signal to the monitor)
*I tried 3 different monitors with all three connectors and get consistent results.
*I connected a harddrive, which starts spinning when powered on, but i don't get the clicky sound of it doing anything (figured it should start looking for a boot section or something)
*I used RAM from another pc (2GB sticks DDR3, i think from kingston, but it doesn't really say anything but DDR3) and get the same results.
*I took out the battery, and put it back in. Just, cause, I was kinda desperate.

There's only a few things installed yet so there's only that much that can go wrong, right?

The only thing that does concern me is that when i tried to take out the APU, it was kind of stuck there. I don't have experience with AMD cpu's so I didn't wat to put unnecessary force, but idk, it doesn't feel like it should be stuck like that. I don't think I damaged it though, as I have been as careful in placing it as you can possibly be.

I don't have a graphics card as that was only a planned upgrade, and wanted to make this work with the APU alone for the moment, so I cannot test if that would work.

Could it be that I damaged something, and would I be able to tell if the APU is damaged from some factor not described (cause i am still slightly worried about it needing force to be removed).

I have followed most of the troubleshooting guides on this forum, so links to those wouldn't be that helpful.

Anyway, I hope you guys have any suggestions

Thanks in advance.

It was just a the power supply from the pc I took apart to build this one in. I bought a CX430 because i needed more molex/sata connectors anyway, and get the same result with that one.

Well if you are worried about taking the apu out of the socket, bring it to your local shop and ask them to help you troubleshoot it. If the APU does not work with another motherboard, you might have a dect apu. If it works, it might the the motherboard being the problem.

Update: tried powering it up again without the 8pin connected, basicly the same happens, but i can't turn it off again by pressing the power button. Really had to shut down the PSU to get it turned off. So.. yeah, i think i blew it and damaged the apu or hopefully just the 8pin connector or something. Gonna stay off it for the weekend and go to the store on monday. But could anybody please tell me if the apu should require force to be removed. Cause it just feels like i twisted one of the pins or something and it got stuck. (I'm just most afraid of that really as i spent a lot of money on that apu). It did fell in the exact right spot though when installing it.

Solution: Go for intel next time
