Windows 8.1 app tiles showing up black

I just got a new Lenovo Y510P and I'm starting to get really annoyed with the Metro view because whenever I open it the app tiles are always black until I hover over them with my mouse. Also, the charms on the right side of the screen are being replaced randomly with the app icons that are supposed to be in the metro view. Any solutions?

Maybe you have clicked on the high contrast theme....that's why all your tiles are black.

You can change it as follows:

Move your mouse to right of the screen.
It will open charms bar.
Click on SETTINGS>PERSONALIZATION
Change your theme to some other like windows theme or so...

Try this and report bro...Cheers.

Nope. At least not that I know of. I installed MSI afterburner to view the usage of my GPUs but that's about it. It just really bugs me because it makes it harder to shut the PC down and find apps that I want to use.
