Recently I've been getting BSOD errors. I don't really know how to identify them, but I have managed to finally grab the error from the Windows Event logs.
Here is the error, copied onto notepad, exactly as it appeared in the event log

- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">
- <System>
<Provider Name="Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Power" Guid="{331C3B3A-2005-44C2-AC5E-77220C37D6B4}" />
<EventID>41</EventID>
<Version>2</Version>
<Level>1</Level>
<Task>63</Task>
<Opcode>0</Opcode>
<Keywords>0x8000000000000002</Keywords>
<TimeCreated SystemTime="2014-05-05T03:28:55.741609200Z" />
<EventRecordID>230649</EventRecordID>
<Correlation />
<Execution ProcessID="4" ThreadID="8" />
<Channel>System</Channel>
<Computer>Nick-PC</Computer>
<Security UserID="S-1-5-18" />
</System>
- <EventData>
<Data Name="BugcheckCode">244</Data>
<Data Name="BugcheckParameter1">0x3</Data>
<Data Name="BugcheckParameter2">0xfffffa8011880910</Data>
<Data Name="BugcheckParameter3">0xfffffa8011880bf0</Data>
<Data Name="BugcheckParameter4">0xfffff80003d817b0</Data>
<Data Name="SleepInProgress">false</Data>
<Data Name="PowerButtonTimestamp">0</Data>
</EventData>
</Event>

I've been able to replicate this error by shutting down my computer for atleast an hour. Normally, I shut down my computer, and I have a power strip that I turn off shortly after which is connected to my PC.

However, if I do not turn the power strip off within 30 minutes or so, then once I turn my PC back on (regardless if its booting from having the power cut or not) then the BSOD error appears.

I will attempt to get a screenshot of the error, if that helps.

Any help is appreciated.

"use whocrashed or bluescreenview they will read the dump files and give you an idea"

Bluescreenview is showing the most recent error from September 2013.
I assume I can't somehow take the Event viewer log and import it to the bluescreenview. So essentially, that application is entirely worthless unless I'm using it wrong somehow.

All of these solutions are either too simple or too complicated from what I've found. I will try using whocrashed. If that doesn't work, I will dump whatever info I can on the blue screens I've been getting.

I've also been getting unexplained freezing. For no reason my computer will just freeze, forcing a restart. NO EVENTS ON THIS SHOW UP IN EVENT VIEWER.

Again, the solutions I've googled for nearly a month are either too simple or too complicated, and every "solution" is different, or every forum I've looked through ends with a dead thread with no **** answers.

Sorry for bumping this thread, but I have literally nowhere else to turn.

Basically my question is, where can I get the information to help you guys find a solution?
