Question: Why is closed loop liquid cooling so popular?
I've been browsing the pcparkpicker's completed builds and most of then include a closed looped watercooler. Isn't air cooling a cheaper and for the most part, a better, quieter solution? Most if not all of the people I asked suggest air cooling and to only go for water cooling if going custom. So, why is it that most people (at least on the site) choose the closed loop liquid cooling options rather than air?
