But this is what I would do for starters. You could easily add an optical drive and 4GB more RAM at any time later as well as an after market cpu cooler for easy overclocking. The extra money saved on those things allows for a much better motherboard and a more powerful video card.

I changed the PSU to a better, more reliable one.
I've also changed the RAM to save some money, but it's still quality RAM.

With all the money saved, I've somehow managed to change your 260X to a 270X
