Build advice: Am I overspending on this MB?

Hello,
I have been trying to put together a build for a computer I've wanted for some time now. I have two goals: firstly, be able to record and edit Minecraft videos for upload to Youtube. Secondly, I want to get into video rendering and game coding mostly using Blender and Unity and possibly Illustrator and Gimp.

Approximate Purchase Date: About a month from now.

Budget Range: $500 max

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I don't really have an opinion although I would prefer to order everything from the same site for simplicity.

Location: Denver, I live about 15 mins from a Micro-center.

Parts Preferences: From what I understand from some friends that do video rendering Intel/nVidea combos are the best for this. If this is incorrect let me know.

Overclocking: Maybe in the future probably RAM slightly, straight away.

SLI or Crossfire: Yes eventually

Your Monitor Resolution: I would like to record MC at 1080p if possible for 720p is ok.

Additional Comments: I don't care at all what the tower looks like so long as it works for my build and gives me some room to expand. Also I should note that I have a monitor, 1 or 2 seagate 500GB 7200rpm esatas and a friend is selling me a GTX 660 for $60. I haven't really been including that 60 in the total because I will be getting it much sooner than the rest of the parts. Basically what I tried to do with this is build something that will fill my immediate needs, recording/editing MC videos, and also if I find that I really enjoy rendering I can upgrade without starting over completely. When I tried to find cheaper MBs (in the 60-80 range) I kept finding ones that didn't have all the features I wanted. No SLI, slower RAM speeds, no PCI 16x etc.

TL;DR: Will this build be able to record/edit MC at least 720p and later be upgradeable to beastly video rendering machine?

Parts list time!

Thanks for any feedback!

Solution
Your parts list is currently $465, and so to reduce this I put in cheaper RAM, 1 stick of Kingston Blue for easy upgrading, and kept everything else the same except Case and PSU.

I strongly advise against going with Case+PSU combos, especially from Raidmax. The PSU is low-quality and will fail on you more likely.
I've replaced it with a good looking case, and a quality PSU that should last.

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't happy with the case/psu option either, but I couldn't seem to find a case cheap enough with good reviews. Also, I bought this RAM yesterday but according to Kingstons website it isn't compatible with the MB. Is it possible that the memory will work but Kingston doesn't recommend it?

You will have to check with the motherboard manufacturer's website for that.
If you don't get an answer, try calling or emailing them.
