Im getting really low GPU usage on any kind of game, but on benchmarks my GPU's are working just fine, while im playing the usage is usually around 20~30%.

- GTX TITAN SC sli
- i7 4960X
- RAMPAGE IV extreme
- 32gb corsair dominator platinum 2133mhz
- 1200w PSU

What could be causing it?

Your GPU usage is supposed to be low if your card doesn't need its full power to max a game.
What game(s) are you playing, resolution are you playing at, what framerate are you getting, and are you on ultra settings?

Ill use BF4 as an example.

I'm running the game on ultra, 1920x1080p and my fps is usually 60~80, but sometimes it drops to 50ish fps.

Sometimes my usage fluctuates, it has some spikes of 80~90%, but most of the time it wont go past 30% and my fps is terrible.

Do you have a framerate limit set with EVGA PrecisionX or Rivatuner or anything like that? Unlike normal limiters, some set a framerate "target" and not a "limit". So your card will run just hard enough to usually mostly hit the target.

BF4 is good, though sounds like your aren't even pushing your Titans in SLI, as for 1080p, even one GTX Titan is easily enough.

If the usage is limiting FPS in games, like they are, I would overclock your memory by around 200Mhz, see what that does.

Reasons :

1. you didnt maxout your game
2. being Bottlenecked by CPU

thats pretty low FPS for such a monster system . & bottleneck would be weird because you have a great CPU .

just pull out 1 or two Graphics & make it run single GTX titan & see what are the results .

i run that game with my GTX 760 + i5 3470 ( maxedout ) ( almost over 100 FPS , im not kidin )

Single GTX titan can ROCK . so just try what i said . try it with single then go for dual & go for what you already have now & see if you notice any difference . if yes & if single or dual Titans work better than sell the third one :D  , try not to OC your CPU . that cpu rocks at stock . no need to put it under Bad condition .

Nothing happened, im still stuck at 20~30% usage.

Tried using a single GTX titan, still the same. Low usage and terrible fps.

I know this is a little bit offtopic but, should i sell the titans and buy a 780ti?

Well single GPU is always better & safer to go with because every game will take advantage of its performance . but theres no such thing in SLI or Crossfire .

But man if you had the same thing with single card then just hold on till you fix this problem .

if i were you i would do a clean installation of windows 8.1 & Use most recent WHQL drivers & then i would turn off VSYNC & would try the games again . just to make sure it has nothing to do with your os & softwares .

i really dont believe that that monster rig can give you any trouble .
