what windows 7 edition is the best for gaming?

Solution
Hi Randomgaer
you will notice little difference between all three as far as gaming goes ,
your motherboard , cpu ,gpu and ram will ultimately determine how well your system plays games

No difference. Editions are about what OS has as features but that should not have effect on gameplay.
Only difference I know about is that home version got limit of 16GB ram while pro and ultimate can use up to 192GB. But you dont need more than 16 gb for games anyway.

But also, Pro and Ultimate have a whole host of other services and process running by default. Things thata are completely not needed in a gaming environment.

In theory, that extra stuff running in the background may take up a tenny bit of resources that could be used elsewhere.
Probably wouldn't notice in use, though.

The main difference is a lighter wallet with Pro and Ultimate. Buying features you will never ever use.
