Hi,

I am having an issue with setting up my network.
I would like to connect two different flats together.
In one of those is a internet connection and ISP provided modem/router (I am using it only as a modem), IP 192.168.0.1.

"Modem" is connected to my primary router Linksys WRT610N (Firmware version 2.00.01), IP 192.168.1.1. Now to this router is connected several PC's, mobiles, printer, NAS server and A WI-FI Access point (Ubiquity NanoStation M5), IP 192.168.1.100.

Wi-Fi Ubiquity M5 is connected to another "M5" via 5Ghz. The other Wi-Fi Ubiquity NanoStation M5 is set up as station. On both of those wifi devices is DHCP turned off.

To second "M5" which is set up as station is connected to router/bridge NETGEAR N600 WNDR3700, IP manualy set up to 192.168.1.112, DHCP turned OFF. LAN is connected to "LAN switch" not WAN port!

To WNDR3700 are also connected several devices like laptops, printer and Win 2008 Server.
Simplyfied diagram is here:

Facts:
1) All computers connected to WRT610N are connected to internet without any problem.
2) From all devices connected to WRT610N I can reach any other device, even printer, server and router in other flat.
3) From devices connected to WNDR3700 I can access only devices connected to this router AND both of wi-fi "M5's" (aka 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.102)
4) Those "M5's" have embedded "ping service", from both I can ping ALL devices! (That means M5 192.168.1.102 can access WRT610N 192.168.1.1)
5) M5 192.168.1.102 can even ping 8.8.8.8 (aka Google public DNS)
6) None of devices connected to WNDR3700 can ping 192.168.1.1, as far as I can go is 192.168.1.100
7) I tried to connect laptop to M5 192.168.1.102 and bypass WNDR3700. The problem is still the same.
8) Windows function "troubleshoot problems" is suggesting that DNS is not reachable.
9) All devices connected to WNDR3700 are automatically acquiring correct IP's from WRT610N. (I set up static DHCP list on WRT610N for all deviced knowing their MAC address)

Answer:
Where do you think is a problem? In WRT610N (DHCP, DNS?), in "M5 station"? or in WNDR3700?
How come I can't access to 192.168.1.1 from device connected to M5, but M5 itself can access it?

Sounds like mac addresses are not passing over the link. You must have it run in transparent bridge mode. It generally uses WDS to do this. Manual won't load today and its been a while since I did one of these. There were options you had to turn on to make it work. When ever I have had 2 of ubiquitis units I just set them to transparent bridge mode and they seem to work forever and I don't have to touch them....and forget how to configure them.

I tryied to set them up as AP WDS and Station WDS also. The problem is the same even with those settings. Mac addresses probably ARE passing over the link because devices connected to WNDR3700 are getting IP which I manually set up for them on WRT610N's DHCP table.

Ok, so I've left the settings on those wifi links to "station WDS" and "AP WDS". Somehow, over the night it made a little progress. I can now ping all devices from any device connected to WNDR3700. But I still can't reach outside servers, like google.com. Any suggestions. Also, this seems to be a problem with Win Server 2008 computer, because I can use online functions (Thus printer is obviously connected to the internet) on printer connected to WNDR3700. I've tried to restart it, disable LAN adapter re-enable it. Run "troubleshoot problems" function, ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew commands without any luck.
