I bought the Z87X-UD5H mid last year, I was initially having the '4 DIMM memory issue' (as someone else has described here http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,13267.0.html). As I didn't want to go to trouble of replacing the motherboard at the time I just used it with 2 ram sticks and the computer was useable (there were 2 issues:
1 - when powering on, the debug LED would show code 99 (Super IO initializion.) and get stuck, had to restart using hardware button to start computer.
2 - when shutting down windows, sometimes had to hold down power button to turn off computer as it did not shutdown, i.e. display was off but internal components were still on - this was mostly an issue after extended use of the system).

I have recently updated the BIOS to version F9 as several sources mentioned it fixed the 4 DIMM memory issue. So far after 2 weeks of use, I've had no BSODs while using 4 DIMMs of RAM, but the F9 update introduced a different issue.

CURRENT ISSUES:
1 - After shutting down the computer I am unable to turn on the computer on without disconnecting power off for 5-10 seconds (Video of problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BL3T6kpdvI&feature=youtu.be)
2 - After computer is turned on using the above step, sometimes it will turn off or restart again. There is no consistent debug LED message, the two I observed were 97 (Console Output device connect) and D6 (I think, No Console Output devices are found).
3 - When trying to determine if the 4 sticks of ram was causing the above problems, I was unable to load the computer into an OS with just 2 sticks of RAM; the PC always shutdown (current issue #2)

Any ideas on this or anyone else having the same problem?

Hi Y0GI, my old monitor is my secondary monitor and if i dont have my primary connected (via Display Port) the computer boots correctly.

I did some Google-ing and it turns out Gigabyte motherboards + AMD cards + Displayport dont mix well...
For me, the fix was to switch from Displayport to a dual-link DVI cable, and now the computer is completely stable.

All this because of a cable....**Computers**
