Hi,
first off, here are my specs:
i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz
Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
Stock HP 8GB 1333MHz RAM
OCZ Agility 3 240GB SSD
2TB Western Digital 5400rpm HDD
Blu-ray disk drive
MSI Z77A-G45
2x 2GB EVGA Geforce GTX 660 Ti in SLI
Hauppauge DVB-T USB TV Tuner
Corsair CX750 750w PSU
Coolermaster HAF X Nvidia Case

I've noticed this happen a few times, but not on all games..
Basically, I'll be playing a game, when suddenly everything goes black, with no sound or anything, but the PC is still on, so I'm forced to reset it.

It just happened to me on COD2, first of all I had vsync off and my cards were at 99% for about 3 minutes before it shut down, I had aroujnd 400fps.

When I reset my PC and gave it another go, I put it on max fps -180, both cards were at around 60%, and it did it again?

I can play games with higher stress without crashing once, why is this?

Admirable
it's a common issue with SLI, also with crossfire.

some games have better stability with this configuration, but most issues are fixed by updating the drivers.

if not, you can tweak the game settings until everything is stable.

Really?
That's sort of a relief! My friend had the same PSU as me and his caught fire when in game so I was sort of worried haha!

Considering selling my dual 660ti's for a single 780:p

Yeah haha, was talking to them just then about maybe changing my PSU to a little higher Wattage and a different model, rather than the CX series.
