Hello.

Long time lurker, first time poster here,
I am currently experiencing weird system stability issues, first of all,
My specs;

    CPU: i5 760 2.80ghz running @ 3,33ghz Turbo
    Cooler: Noctua NH-UP12
    Mobo: Asus P7P55D Pro
    RAM: Patriot Signature series 8GB (2gbx4)
    PSU: Corsair TX Series, 650 Watt
    UPS: UPS Gembird 1200VA
    GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 2gb OC edition
    HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
    External HDD: Samsung D3 Station 2TB

Overview:

I built this PC in late 2010, since then I have added 2 sticks of RAM, replaced a Gigabyte GTX 460 because one of its fans stopped working completely and the card would constantly give out artifacts.
I change the thermal paste every 14 months, clean and check on fans, CPU cooler, HDD, PSU, GPU every 3 months, dust out the case using compressed air every month or so (I keep the tower on a desk and fiddle around a lot and since I own a cat a lot of hair and dust accumulates rather quick)

The problem I am currently having;

System instability which include hangs, stuttering both in-game and out, screeching noise which I am sure are coming from the PSU.
They are not your regular "whining" noises you would come across in various PSU brands and models, it's almost as if the PSU is struggling. I also sometimes hear what you would call "popping" noises from the PSU, more often than not they occur when playing video games.
BSODs on graphically low-intensive games, most recent example is the AOE: Extended Edition which came to Steam not too long ago, it played fine for about 5hours, now I get severe FPS drops, hangs, freezes, stuttering and eventual BSOD each time referring to the nvidia driver and directx. The skirmish maps won't even load for me now and instead the game just crashes. Another one would beEuro Truck Simulator 2, crashes in a similar fashion.
That is weird to me because heavily modded Skyrim as well as The Witcher 2 on ultra (without ubersampling) runs at 60 fps, although I do experience minor stuttering, though nothing out of the ordinary.

What I have tried:

  • Re-installed DirectX
    Clean install of a WQHL-certified Nvidia driver 335.23
    Memtest, resulted in 100% pass, although I did run the test for only about 2h, should I try a bit more, say 8 or so hours?
    Ran disk check, everything came out fine.
    Replaced GTX 760 with my old GTX 9600, overall the PSU seems to be making less noise and there are no hangs, but I've yet to run any games.

So which component do you think is the most likely culprit?
Personally, I'm leaning towards the PSU, I would like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks.

Yes that looks to be a CPU sensor bug. Dont worry when I use HWMonitor my TMPIN2 is 128 Degrees. IF you want to you can always use other third party software such as SpeedFan or Core Temp to see whether you CPU is hitting ridiculously high temperatures.

Did I post this in the wrong section or something?
This is no way answers my question.
I uploaded a screenshot with the temps for information sake, nothing else.
