Hello, yesterday my computer froze and I had to restart, ever since that its not going into the login menu. However, when ever I reboot it goes past my motherboard logo (republic of gamers) then it just goes like a solid dark navy blue, the color where the windows logo is at. I hit F8 to go to Advanced settings to hit safe mode or repair but it comes up with Select a boot device, I hit each one and nothing happens. I have a gaming tournament on Sunday in Dallas and need someones help ASAP!

Specs:

Intel i7 4770k

Asus Maximus Hero IV

Nvidia GeForce GTX 770

2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Ram

Case: NZXT Phantom

Please there has to be a way around this. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR ME!

Solution
Hmmm, open the left cover of your cabinet, you will see the HDD there, connected with a red cable (colour may vary)to motherboard, that is the SATA DATA cable, to its left you will see a black connector, which is POWER cable, now discount both by pulling them. Power cable will come out easily, but the SATA DATA cable may have a lock, so you have to unlock it by squeezing the metal head. Now the first part is done. Its time now to re-attach both cables, its pretty easy just align the cables and push firmly but gently, that's it you are done.

If the problem persists, then look into the BIOS, if you can see the HDD there ! If its not there then contact a friend or local tech for further diagnosis.
Good luck.
