Hey guys, I am having a really hard time figuring out which monitor is better.

A)
Manufacturer: Acer
Resolution: 1920x1080
Screen: LED
Contrast ratio: 100000000:1
Response time: 8ms
Connections: DVI and Vga
Price: 449SR

B)
Manufacturer: Benq
Resolution: 1920x1080
Screen: LED
Contrast ratio: 20000:1
Response time: 2ms
Connections: HDMI and DVI
Price 580SR
Don't have a link for this one.

1USD = 3.75SR

Both monitors did not have details about whether they were ips or some other kind and
anything related to their response time.
I will be using my monitor mainly for gaming and watching music. Apart from that I have a very low budjet. Thanks in advance..

benq must be your option! 8ms isnt good to be playing games, seems like an older model not ips, 8ms is very high even for ips panel at 22'' .

So contrast ratio is'nt much of a big deal is it?, is 20000:1 good or do the other specs outweigh the acer?

contrast ratio reflects on the viewing angle abilty. also there is contrast ratio and dynamic contrast ratio which has way bigger values. the acer product specification you have posted shouldnt be regarded as incomplete! such contrast ratio is defenately a dynamic one!
