hi guys. i am planning to buy a new graphics card. i just want to know whether radeon r9 280x can support 3 way crossfire. i have a gigabyte motherboard with an amd 760g chipset. i am buying a new one mostly asus maximus formula or gigabyte g1 sniper 5. i have a power supply of 1200w corsair and my new cpu will be i7 4770k. i just need help with this part about crossfire x technology. if this card does not support 3 way cfx then which other card does support 3 way cfx at the same price range.

Yes, that card supports 3-way CF.

However, you'd probably be better with a pair of faster cards. Scaling tends to get worse the more GPUs are involved.

Scaling is how much adding extra cards help improve performing. Adding a second card usually doesn't add the same again frame rate, and third is usually even worse.
