Cpu for streaming

i want a cpu for streaming im not afraid of buying the 4770k but i think that it is overkill i record consle gameplay i might record on my pc but at low settings

If you have the money then get the 4770k, the 4670k would be the next best option, it is a killer CPU, not too overkill and can easily handle the tasks you want to do.

In my opinion I would say get the 4670k, purely because it's cheaper and performs close to the 4770k and the price/performance is amazing.

ok i will overclock the I5 4670k i know you came to the cpu thread but would you know anything about gpu as far as i can see Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card (£145.20 @ Amazon UK) is a VERY solid option

You could go with the 270x but for around £30 more you could get much better performance from a 760.

I would go with the ASUS as it it much more reliable, the Direct CUII cooling is much better and the customer service is fantastic.

And no the 270 wont max out games on 1080p, ultra/max with AA, not at a steady 60fps minimum. you can have high settings with the 270x with no AA at about 50 FPS, the 760 will reach a steady 60 fps 1080p ultra/high settings with some AA.
