Hello, I have a dell XPS 210, It’s a pretty old system . my problem all started when I foolishly put ddr into ddr2 ram slot, My dell would give me a buzz sound of 1-3-2 and a diagnostic light of 1 so I thought its a ram problem and I left the computer for sometime and the original ram was outside it and I don't think it was protected from static electricity and I tried my original ram and same error so I went ahead and bought new ram and this time I checked it was ddr2 and that the speed was compatible and still same error I'm afraid that I have ruined my ram slots. the motherboard should be working at least partially because the motherboard speaker is working and my hard disk activity light is blinking so now I'm lost what should I do ????
