Hi everyone! Quick question.

So I have just cloned my old 60gb SSD to a new 250gb SSD, but now I realise I have 2 OS. When I try to boot up, there will be 2 options for windows 7 (recovered).

Here is a screenshot of my disc management and boot configuration.

So my question is if it would be safe to format my old 60gb drive? Because I see under the disc management for C: it says (Boot, Pahe File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition).

Basically, I want my computer to boot from F drive instead of C

Thanks!

Hi

You can try removing or disconnecting the old SSD and checking the bios is set to boot from the new bigger SSD

Do not format or change the old SSD until you are sure the system works with out it.

Once you are sure windows is working on new drive it will be safe to format the old drive
Note it would make a super fast external USB drive especially in a USB 3.0 tray

Or could speed up an old laptop instead of using it in existing PC
