New GPU after my last one died, computer keeps restarting

I bought an EVGA GTX 760 last week because my last GPU died. (It kept saying drivers crashed, then about a month after artifacts started to appear until it was no longer usable)
Ever since I installed the new one, my computer keeps shutting itself off at varying times. Usually about 30 mins to an hour, although one day it took about 9 hours until the first time it crashed.
The weird thing is, it never crashes whenever I play games. I can play Dota 2 for hours and nothing will happen. It always happens either when I'm using Chrome, or when the PC is idle.
Also, from what I checked the card and CPU temps are fine, so I don't think it's overheating.

My specifications
Motherboard: GA-P55A-UD4P
PSU: Chieftec CFT-750-14CS (750W)
RAM: 4 x 2GB DDR3

Thanks for the help!

Solution
It shouldn't to be honest.

I've searched around and came up with some possible solutions.

Follow these steps and install Adobe flasplayer for your system.:

"In a new tab, type "about:plugins" without the quotation marks and ENTER.
Expand the "Details" tab on the top-right corner. Under the Flash section, there will be two entries each with the subject "Shockwave"
Disable the one with the path Chrome\Application\9.0.597.98\gcswf32.dll (hint: type this in the Chrome Page search if you can't find it)
Leave the second entry with the path \Flash\NPSWF32.dll as enabled.

This should disable the built-in Chrome Flash player and leave the Adobe Flash player running. "

Replace the smiley with "about: plugins" without the space.

Hello,

Did you clean the remaining drivers that were used by the old GPU? Use a program like driver sweeper to clean the drivers, then boot into safe mode and install the correct drivers for your current GPU.

Not only did I do that when I first installed the new GPU, I also tried reformatting and installing a clean Windows again.

Have you checked power settings? There may be something that is enabled that makes the computer shut down when idle.

Or you can go to the BIOS and uncheck any CPU power saving options.

Have you ran a virus scan just in case? It might be a nasty virus or malware. Try to get the latest windows updates.

It "might" be the PSU that can't keep up with the system, but you can game just fine, so it makes no sense.

Like I said, I tried to do a fresh Windows install, so I don't think it's a virus/malware sort of problem.

And yeah I don't think it's the PSU for that same reason, it always happen when I'm in Chrome, usually with a video running. (Or idle) Only times it happens when a game is running, it's when the game is minimized and I'm in Chrome.

Here's a website that gives some insight on the issue, as well as help to diagnose the problem.

Did it work?

Right as I clicked "Disable", my system crashed. (like a second after) And there was no Flash stuff open at that time either. When the computer restarted it was enabled again, so I disabled it now and hopefully it will work.
I appreciate the help though!
