Hey everyone,

I have a friend from gaming that lives in Russia. He recently moved out and bought a really cheap keyboard called a "Dialog KS-020."

Now there is much difficulty with the language barrier here but for whatever reason he is convinced this keyboard doesn't work due to a driver.

Windows 7 is the OS in use.

I checked the manufacturers website and had no luck with that specific model.

What do you experts say?

Thanks so much. If more details are required let me know.

Solution
same as your speculation, without any support from the manufacturer then that's it.

if other keyboard works fine then, it would be bad to assume any faults in the computer.
Hi

It is rare for a keyboard to need non standard drivers not found in windows
Unless there are additional keys such as media player etc
With out the manufacturers drivers the extra keys will not work but ordinary keys such as letters & numbers etc will work

If a different language this can be changed within control panel

Is this a USB or ps/2 keyboard ?
USB keyboard may not like USB 3.0 socket

Regards
Mike Barnes

USB keyboard with no apparent way to check if a different keyboard works on it, and no apparent way to check the keyboard on a different setup. The keyboard is russian, the language barrier is that I have a hard time communicating with him.

Thanks for the help so far gents.
