Minecraft strange fps drop

So before 5 mins i played minecraft and from buying my pc i have like 150-400 fps on max but now like usually a had that fps then i teleported(its server) the fps go to 25-30 why? its stupid... i5 3350p gt 640 ram 8 gb 1600mhz kingston

Chunk loading, server lag/client lag, RAM allocation, could be a number of things.

Well i was traveling for an 20 mins and when i get back to spawn it was laggy as hell plus low fps then i get back to my home and the chunk updates were 90 and above then the numbers z,x etc did go crazy then for a min everything did go normal 5 chunk 200 and more fps but i get to spawn again and it was 20 fps again why? before it didn't happen? Btw there are 2 ppl in the server

Sounds like server lag that is also causing client lag spikes dropping your FPS. With server lag and client chunk loading your FPS is dropping, have you restarted client and added more RAM. Also restart the server.

Restarting client means restarting minecraft (closing, reopening basically)

No i don't need to install that cause just before hour it run smoothly with 200 fps and above and now is 90 chunks and above with 20-90 fps

Also it's not from the server i joined another one and had the same issue

What do you mean install, I haven't said to download anything. You change the RAM values from the minecraft launcher. And if its a server then contact the admin for a restart.

Type this in the RAM value. -Xmx2G (with the -)

Hmm so it definatly looks like this -Xmx2G, like there is only meant to be the one dash. It should boot from that as it's a valid RAM argument.

The only thing I can think of really is updating your GPU drivers and updating java. something in the server may be causing lag, is there anywhere with a ton of entities or chunks being constantly loaded?

Well as i said i tryed other serves also one of my friends tried it with lower pc than mine and had better fps and yes i have the latest nvidia drivers but not java's
