Computer making weird buzzing noise in World of Warcraft only

Alright, so this just started happening recently when I replaced one of my four fans on my radiator. Thinking that it was the cause of this problem, I unplugged the fan only to notice the sound would remain while in WoW. I know now that it isn't caused by any fans, as I've checked every single one including the PSU bottom mounted.

So if it's not a fan, what is it? I don't believe its a hard drive, as I've noticed the sound coming from the GPU / PSU area. When I tab out of WoW or I'm in a loading screen the sound stops, and the sound isn't present on any other games I've tried out (DayZ, Goat Sim, Counter Strike).

Is this a GPU problem? A PSU problem? It doesn't sound like coil whine, and it doesn't seem to be coming from the area if it were to be. I've seen some people stating that the GPU can make noise depending on the PSU, so I figured I might just replace the PSU.

Any thoughts? This is getting worrisome and annoying, so any help would be greatly appreciated :(

  1. I believe this happens when your fps goes up to 4000+ fps. This also occurs in GTA 4 during loading a save game. Turn on V-sync and it will locked frames to max 60fps,then you won;t have that problem whining.
