I'm trying to decide on a Graphics card for my first build. I plan on upgrading this rig over time. I was planing on going with a GTX 780, but after reading that seemed a bit overkill for my monitor. I would like to eventually upgrade/add monitors to my setup, but that won't be for a while. So I was thinking, maybe save $200 now and go with a GTX 770, and after a while upgrade to a GTX 780ti, and then after that go SLI with the 780ti. What are your thoughts? I don't have the $$$ to go with a GTX 780ti now, which is why I was planning on going with the 780. If I get the 780, I will just add another 780 and not bother with the 780ti. Any suggestions here would be appreciated!

It really depends what you are planning to play, and what settings, I will recommend the 780 non ti it is really a good card and less expensive than the Ti. The 770 is great card as well, so it's really up to you and what your budget is, what are you upgrading from?

You will save money in the long run if you just get the 780 now, rather than going for the 770 then upgrading it again later, on top of buying more monitors. you will not have any issues running multiple monitors with 780's in SLI.
