when i start my hp it starts normally but then it hangs up on a purple screen for about 5 minutes before my desktop shows up-pls somebody help me-ive scanned and scanned and nothing

Possibly a bad or corrupted profile. Create another user, and log in as the new user and see if the issue exists in the new user profile.

Could also be some spyware - run malware bytes.

ty for your help-going through guest acct purple screen doesnt appear-but not sure what all my kids have done to my lappy-i have spent 3 days trying to clean a big mess up-the purple screen is only part of my issue-1st ? is am i able to fix that corrupted profile-Now my other issue is im slow getting online and then once on for short period of time everything begins to NOT RESPONDING-i have ran the malware bytes-i bought Driver Booster Pro and AdvancedSystem Care 7 Pro-which neither has helped with my issues-
