So on Sunday, my PC was working fine, but when i tried to use it on Tuesday, it went into an infinite boot loop. Thinking it was the motherboard, i went out and bought a new one and set it up, but what happened after was the computer turned on for a split second before turning off again. I've tried many fixes up until now and i even tested it with a different power supply and still the same results so i'm sure it is not the power supply.
my specs are
CPU: intel core i5-3570k
Graphics Card: Geforce GtX 650 1024mb
Ram: x2 Corsair Vengeance LP 8gb
x2 Kingston 8gb
Motherboard: MSI z77a-g45 military class 3
PSU: Diablotek 600watt atx
if you could help me diagnose this problem, it'd be most appreciated.

Really good chance it is your power supply; unable to provide the power your PC needs and/or having broken.
Dia blow tek. PSUs are know for there absolutely horrible quality.
Another forum memeber stated: "A Diablotek power supply should Never be attached to a computer if there is any chance that it will be plugged into the wall power socket at the same time."
That's you starting point for troubleshooting.. Check out this list and try to replace that psu with something from Tier 1, 2 or even 3.

I already tried this, it happens even when all i have plugged in are the cpu, the psu, and the motherboard.

Ive had this psu for over 1 and a half years so its very likely that its started to die, but i tried using a different psu to power on and the same thing happened, granted the only extra that i had (and used) was only 450 watt, but it shouldve been able to at least power up to the bios screen right?

Yeah, first tried it with just corsair, then tried it with just the kingston but still no go, and by clearing the cmos, you mean taking out the little circular battery right? if so, then i've tried it.

Did you try this with that 450watt psu?

Motherboard i originally had (the msi) did not have a socket for the case speaker, but the replacement i bought (Asus Z77-A) did, but it did not make any beeps for me to hear.

I was just wondering if you ever found out what the problem was as it seems I am having the same problem my computer is just over a year old. It keeps shutting off and then coming back on eventually it will start up. but this is really annoying to me. It tends to take 20+ times in order to start. any one got a clue??
