I just started today with the whole learning to build a computer thing. I wanted to get a second opinion on my build to see what ya'll think. Any feed back would be awesome :)

Motherboard: Intel desktop DH87MC

Processor: i7-4771

Memory: Corsair XMS3 8GB 1333MHz

SSD: Intel DC S3500 series 300GB

Power Supply: Solid Gear - 550E ATX 120mm fan (550 watts)

DVD RW Drive: Pioneer BDR 209 DBK (Blue Ray) (Software: Total Media Theatre)

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 4GB

Heat Sink: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo with 120mm PWM fan

Case: Cooler HAF 922 High Air flow Mid Tower

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium SPI 64 bit

A big part of this build is that I want it to be extremely quite (almost un-hearable), beefy, and be able to do a duel monitor set up while also being able connect with my TV for movies, YouTube, and other streaming. So max possible is 3 screens at once but most likely when I am using the TV I will be turning off the monitors.

Things you should change: What are your uses for this computer? If you are gaming i'd suggest an i5, and another oem motherboard. The intel one is quite expensive for what you get. For a psu look at the xfx 550w bronze model, it's highly rated. For the gpu, you can get the 2gb version if it's cheaper since it won't make a difference (i'm assuming you aren't going to game on triple monitors with that gpu).

Things to think about changing: You can probably get 1600mhz ram for the same speed. Doesn't make that big of a difference, but why not if you can for free.

Thre rest is pretty solid.

Ok, cool thanks I was looking at the i5 but I decided to go with the i7 for my engineering programs. Some of those programs are pretty beefy and I hear an i7 would be the best for my programs. I'll take a look at the xfx 550w bronxe model. I was thinking about the 2GB version but I don't know exactly how more GB's affect the system (so I just kind of went with the larger one). Thanks a lot I'll defiantly being looking into those options.
