I added a new account to my PC and now it freezes at window screen. How do I get it boot back to the admin account? Help! This is a work computer. I work from home.

neieus right about Safe Mode, sadly it is not easy to get into. The official means using F8 whilst holding down Shift won't work because the window of opportunity where these keys will be recognised is so small that you have zero chance of it working. Try holding shift and mashing F8 furiously, you might get lucky...
Meanwhile you should have created some form of backup, guess like millions of others you didn't? If you don't have a Recovery/Installation disk get a friend running Windows 8 to create a Recovery Drive at the very least. You'll need a blank CD or a small (1Gb) USB Pendrive. Simply type 'Create' at your Start Screen. Choose Create Recovery Drive from Settings (Win 8) or from list (win 8.1.
Leave the box unchecked for the Recovery Partition.
Get into BIOS (Setup) and make USB Drive or Optical Drive 1st choice in the Boot menu, and boot from the Recovery Drive/Disk. Proceed via Troubleshoot to Advanced Options and first try System Restore to a point prior to your problem arising.
