Is the card correctly placed in the PCIe socket? do you have it connected to your power supply? It should have one 8-pin and one 6-pin, you gotta connect both.

Yes they are connected both and i believe its placed correctly.I even swapped PCIE sockets just in case one of them wasnt working, not the case though.

Could it be that the card is malfunctional?

Sorry for doubleposting.

Ok, this means is not getting enough power, just use one cable that splits into one 8-pin and one 6-pin directly from your PSU to both sockets in the GPU. Make sure it comes from the outlet that says 6+2 PCIe in the back back of the PSU. Try that!

This is how it is but with 2 6+2 pin connectors since i cant find a 6 pin.Could that be the case?

Do you have a cable that has a 6+2-pin on one side, and 2 6+2-pin on the other side? It is a cable that came with the PSU and it should be label PCIe.

I've got 2 with 8 pins on one side and x2 6+2 on the other.

OK connect one 8 pin to the back of the PSU where it says PCIe, and with that same cable connect the one 6+2 on the card and just one 6 pin to the card. The pins work as both 8-pin and 6-pin 6+2=8.

If you can show me pictures it will be great! if it doesnt work it might be a faulty GPU.

Are you sure they match, I mean the pins with the socket? take a look at them they are different shapes, square and one that looks like bullet, make sure they are placed correctly and dont try to push them so hard, also send me a picture where that cable is going.

I didn't have to push at all for it to fit.Sent

Edit:I mean like there was minimal pressure until it clipped.Close to none.

Everything looks fine and it should work how you have it connected right now, I mean everything that I can think of right know its that your GPU was DOA, from what I am looking everything should work just fine. I am sorry I could not help you.
