Can I get away with using a Corsair CX500M with this build?

i5 4670 3.4 ghz

Z87 G45 Gaming LGA 1150

G Skill Sniper Series 8 GB (2x4)

Corsair CX500M

I bought the GTX 760 4GB but now after further research I prefer the 770 2GB. I am able to return the 760 but not the PSU. I do not want to buy another PSU as I haven't even used this one yet. I planned on getting the 760 2GB since 4GB isn't "necessary". However, if I can use the PSU with the 770 then I will get that.

Hi. It should be fine. Not one of Corsair's best, but haven't really seen a lot of issues with it either.

I don't know if this will make a difference but I forgot to mention I am running 3 case fans, 1 TB WD Black, and a 240 GB Crucial SSD as well.

You will be fine.
Just don't run prime95 and furmark at the same time which imo is never a good idea, unless you're a die hard overclocker with the hardware to match that need.Looking at your non overclockable cpu are you not.

I don't plan on doing any overclocking at all. I just plan on running everything as it is but I don't want to fry or mess anything up because of the PSU.

I decided to bite the bullet and return the PSU and pay the restocking fee. Can someone advise me with a PSU that costs no more than $120 and has around 700 watts please.

Start a new thread 'Power Supply for i5 4670 GHz and GTX 770'. Everyone else will think that this is just an ongoing discussion.

and ask them if there is a better power supply than

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-120pg075...

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009YC3EAI/?tag=pcpapi-20 same PSU, the price is lowest at amazon

Thanks I ended up getting the Corsair HX750 for $109 after instant savings on Newegg with the possibility of $20 more off with the MIR.
