Low FPS on BF3

So ive been playing BF3 for a while. And recently, about a month after, my fps dropped to about 30-35 average. Before, i was getting 60+. No the maps and players didn't change anything. I am using a msi r9 270x. All settings are on ultra. This happened all of sudden, it didn't gradually get lower.
Any suggestions?

Could be heat problems, how old is your PC? how long has it been since the last time you cleaned it up? the heatsink gets dusty

fx 8320 at 1080p 60hz. My case i literally bought 1 week ago (define r4). my 270x is about 1 month old.

i also just played dirt3 with average 90fps 1080p at highest settings.

well i'll start making crazy assumptions, how much RAM does your PC detect? just go to dxdiag in "run" and tell me how much is it, and also how much did you install

Hmm...trying to make my head work, every game or only BF3? if any more games do they have a common factor? (example=multiplayer)

just bf3 on MP right now. i dont play SP on bf3. other games seem fine

the thing is with them steam type games is you ''agree'' to there content and access to your computer as they see fit and you never know if they did something to do this to you since you really have no control of the game it just funny that there are 100's of folks with this kind of issue but the one common link is steam or who ever .. myself I cant see buying a game that a 3ed party has more control over it then I do and with out ''agreeing'' to that you don't get to play or most times get to load the game ''you'' bought for your enjoyment . cause now you don't know if its you or them. no games I have require steam or whoever or a required internet connection there full games on the disk and if I have an issue with them I know for sure it all me and not wondering about nothing else..[opinion]

well ok that's what they all say.. '' i have no problems with steam.'' see you just don't know when you go online there right there with you weather your running the game or not don't mater also if your mp with the game and your $2000 gaming rig that can do 100fps on the server and I come in with my $200 walmart rig that can barely do 30 fps steam in ''fairness'' cyts you down to my speed so I can play .... what?? where I come from that's bulls**t that's why all my games I can run my own server without a 3ed party dictating how we play. I have full control not them. dude they got you guys so fooled and ripped off it anit funny but yet everyone loves and supports that.. wow
