I am worried about if the memory I have chosen is compatible with my motherboard. The memory is LGA 1155 and DDR3 while the motherboard is LGA 1150 and DDR3. I hear as long as both have DDR3 you don't have to worry about it matching LGA's. But I ma not sure on this?

Motherboard : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Best solution

The memory is DDR3 which is fine. The LGA 1155 is a CPU socket designation and of no concern as far as the memory goes. What you have heard is right. as long as the memory is DDR3, you are fine.
