Hi im trying to use 6 monitor using 3 video card. Im using x2 4670 and the integrated 4290, using CCC 13.9.

The first video card on PCIe-1 have 3 connector (vga, hdmi and dvi) second card on pcie-2 have two dvi port and the integrated have 1 vga, hdmi, dvi port.
The thing is dvi ports aint working for PCIe 1 and the integrated, only vga port are working leaving me with 4 monitor only. Any idea why i cant connect more than 2 monitor on DVI port even thou im using different cards?

Solution
Thats exacly the problem. Both card have DVI-i Dual link so they should work with the adapter. All my monitor are VGA and im using VGA-TO DVI Adapter. I think the problem relay with w7 cannot detect 3 active DVI-i dual link. I can see all monitor being detect but one of the monitor attached to one of the DVI-i Dual link is going into powersave mode.

If i mess switching back and fort all of monitor the problem can be with any of both card, thats why i think is w7 fault that cant detect 3 ACTIVE DVI-i dual link connection.

Yes, what im trying to archive is using 6 monitor, 2 monitor on each card. Both monitor on the dual dvi card are working, but on the other card and the integrated DVI ports are not working once all monitor are plug in. only VGA and HDMI works.

To make this more clear. im trying to connect 4 monitor (all vga) to 2 video card. Im using 2 hd 4670 . The first hd 4670 have 2 dvi port which both monitor are working great using vga to dvi adapter and the second one have one vga and one dvi but here is the problem only the monitor connected to the VGA port display image the other one is going into power save mode (also using vga-dvi apdater). So my third monitor is not working. It been detected but it seems that w7 is putting it in power save mode.

It seems that w7 can not work with 3 DVI monitor at the same time

Ok, let me see if I finally follow. 4670 on PCIe 1. Using VGA to VGA and it works. DVI to VGA which doesn't work. 4670 on PCIe 2. DVI to DVI which works, DVI to DVI which also works. And we are trying to figure out why the DVI to VGA on the PCIe 1 doesn't work? I'm using three DVIs on my setup (two on mDP to DVI.)

Look at the card that doesn't have the working DVI. Does it have analog ability? If that DVI is DVI-D then it won't work. HDMI isn't an option unless you want to use an active HDMI to VGA adapter. So what card is this problem 4670? You can also try using ONLY that DVI port and see if it works.
