Ok, so I want to overclock my phenom II because of how it bottlenecks my gtx 760 SC and I want to be able to hit like 4ghz if it is possible, but my minimum is like 3.5ghz. I want to use an air cooler for it, because I am afraid of a water cooler breaking while I'm using it. I need help choosing a air cooler for this kind of job (if there are any). I have been thinking about the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo but I'm not sure of it. My budget for this cooler is maximum $80. Here are my pc specs:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1045t
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS
RAM: I am not sure of this but I think it is Kingston HyperX Red 8gb I will give a more accurate answer to this if it is needed
PSU: 750 watt
Case: Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-01
